Houston Photographer Maggie Phillips
I began my career in 2002 as a staff photographer and designer at KUHF-FM radio in Houston, Texas. I have since earned a Masters Degree from University of Houston – Clear Lake where I studied graphic design and photography. In 2008, I launched Maggie Phillips Studios and began working as a Houston photographer, graphic designer and media consultant for various corporate and non-profit partners.
We are so excited to be named as one of the top Houston Wedding Photographers by A List Houston in 2014 and 2015 as well as Expertise.com in 2015.
I have 2 beautiful daughters whom I love more than anything and a wonderful husband whom I adore. I was born in the Houston area and have lived here all my life. Aside from my little family, I enjoy running, photography and all things Harry Potter. I’m training for my first half marathon so if you have any tips, send them my way. 🙂

Interested in Learning Photography?
I wanted to add a little note about education because I get a lot of questions about learning photography. I highly recommend classes or lessons for anyone interested in learning more about photography or even just understanding and working their camera to take better photos of their children. UH Clear Lake has a great program for people who are interested in learning film or digital photography. You don’t have to be degree-seeking to take classes. I definitely recommend that anyone interested in learning photography look in to classes. They have wonderful classes in all aspects of photography as well as Photoshop, digital manipulation and editing.
